Couple years back I got a job as an entertainer in Lapland with Tui. I had no idea what to expect. Had very little time to prepare as I was working a full time job at the restaurant as well. When I went there I felt out of place and was shy, was scared to mess up, was afraid to not fit in. First few weeks were horrible. I was crying all the time. Felt like falure. Felt like I wasn‘t talented or good enough. That was when I had the worst audtition of my life. Honestly I had bad auditions before, but that was so terrible. Mainly due to a dumb reason to choose a song that I sang least. I basically sabotaged myself. And I was told not to sing at the firework event, because I was simply not ready. I was told maybe later that could be reevaluated. I knew I could do it deep in my hear, but something kept holding me back. Right after this horrible audition I realised something had to change and I started looking. When I found Vytas Kas and his qph method, we were still in training. One week in luckily. Took me a couple days to go through the materials and I applied it instantly. After asking right questions for few days I immediately notticed the shift, but not only me. Others did too. I ended up singing at event also involving kids. People were listening with their mouths open including my collegues. It was such a great feeling to overcome barriers of being judged. I left Lapland being a completely different person than I entered. The change that occured lasts to this day and I am so much braver to sing for others that I was before.
